On 23rd April 2010, my music class did a performance rehearsal. But I went to the library because, I haven't updated my blog. So, Mr.Herry sent me to the library.

20th April 2010

Mr. Herry showed us some of the commercial videos that have a commercial songs. And we have to make our own jingle for our product.

16th April 2010

On 16th April 2010 we all had a theory test. The theory test was really hard for me because, I'm not good at chords. But, the only part that I think I could do it is the theory part about my group's genre.

13th April 2010

Today, we did our singing test. We all had to sing a song called "I got rhythm". I sang it pretty good but I still need to improve my self-confidence because, I was nervous when I sang it.

9th April 2010

Today, Mr.Herry told us to make a poster that include our genre's questions and the answers. After we finished to make the posters we showed it infront of our friends.

6th April 2010

Today, we reviewed again about the 7th chord. We also wrote a questions about our group's genre for our test. Mr. Herry also told us to make 2 videos every week of our practice.

19th MARCH 2010

Today, I learned about 7th chord that used in jazz music. We all wrote it into our notes. But actually, I dont really know about the sharp thing.

12th February 2010

Today, I did my assessment. In the assessment we had to played a violin with our song that we have made based on the 12 bars blues. I was so nervous and scared because, I didn't know if could played it nicely or not. But after the assessment I was so relief because, finally I could played it and follow the beat even though, it wasn't good enough. I hope I will get a good score :D

Today I practiced a song called "All of me" with a violin. But, unfortunately I just can played it until the 1st bar and a half of 2nd bar because, I dont really understand about the note in the next bars.

19th February 2010

Today I saw my friend played their instruments. They played a song called "All of me". We also collected our song that we have made but, Mr. Herry lost my draft paper so I have to make a new song again. Mr. Herry told us to study "All of me" at home because, 2 weeks more we have a instrument assessment.

16th February 2010

On 16th February I forgot to bring my music folder. We wrote our 12 bars of blues music and submitted to Mr. Herry. He also explained about blues music compared to other music genres.

9th February 2010

On 9th February I made a 12 bars blues and Mr. Herry told us to study the song called "All of me". I also have to make the new blog because, I forgot the password of my previous blog.

2nd February 2010

Today I sang "Sway" by Michael Buble. I sang it with Winnie and Anh. I think we sang it pretty well but, I still need to improve my self-confidence because, I was scared that I couldn't reached the high notes.

Today we learned about ragtime, swing, bebop, cool jazz and fusion sound. Mr. Harry told us to make a presentation about cool jazz. So, we have to learn more about cool jazz.
